Less than 10 hours of use. This is the bigger lathe from HF with more room for kitless work. I have purchased over $500 of tooling for the lathe from Little Machine Shop that I am including quick change tool post. The lathe is already set up for kitless work with a collet chuck ($100) and full set of ER32 ($150) metric collets which I am also including.

I have right at $1300 invested in it all. Will sell for $650. Local pick up only.

The box it came in made it from China. Bolt it to a board first to keep it from titling in the box like the original packaging. If you will ship it I would buy it.

Yes, as one of many strapped to a skid.
HF will ship that for $6.99. An individual will pay a lot more.

OP-get a quote.

Exactly - The tooling, collet chuck, collets and the way the lathe is set up should way more than justify the costs for an individual though. At least IMO. I was hoping someone had some magical shipper that would pick it up at my house and deliver it for X amount per mile

I have heard that Fastenal stores can be a reasonable way to ship large/heavy items. Drop it off to a Fastenal store local to you and they'll, through their network of delivering items to and from their stores, get it to the closest store to where it needs to go and the person receiving it can pick it up from there. Might be worth checking out - and they do have store locations all over the place.

Great information - I'll check it out. Thank you!
