Hey Jim--haven't gotten the PM yet, so I just sent you one. Something wrong in the PM system this morning maybe?

Have you found a finish that seals & protects the wood but lets the smell come through? Would be a shame to waste it!!
I wipe it down with DNA, then use a sanding sealer before I do the CA finish.

Little secret, but donít tell anyone... I keep an old perfume spritzer with some Jack in it. Before a show, I very lightly mist the JD pens. Trust me when I tell you that sales go up.

And...it also works as an aftershave, antibiotic ointment, cleaner, degreaser. Almost more versatile than WD-40 and Windex combined!! Just don't use it to freshen your breath as the Officer approaches your car window!!

Was the barrel empty when you got it? If it was full, you could probably get lots of volunteers to help empty it.
Due to the lack of interest, tomorrow will be cancelled.

I wonder if the smell could be intensified by putting the blanks into a vacuum pot with some Jack Daniels to pull the JD into the blank?

Naw; That's a waste of good JD!!
