I have some American Wormy Chestnut

I got these out of an old fella's barn a couple years ago as payment for some work I did for him. It had been stacked and stickered for many years, it is some beautiful wood and I have made many nice projects out of it. It is not punky or spalted, it's nice solid American Wormy Chestnut.

I've cut it into different sizes..
25 - approx. 7/8" x 7/8" x 5 3/8" = $2.25 each #1 thru 35 ( 11 - 20 SOLD)
9 - approx. 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 3" = $3.25 each
4 - approx.1 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 6" = $5.00 each
3 - approx. 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 12 1/2" = $9.00 each

IF your interested in some more of the approx. 1" x 1" x 5 3/8" I can cut some more, or any size you might need.

I can also cut some into other sizes ( still approx. 3/4" to 1 5/8" thick) if you need something different, let me know what sizes you might want.

I will ship them by USPS and just charge you 1/2 of whatever the shipping is. I will send them 1st class if possible.

Thanks, Mark

Wormy Chestnut

Got it, I just sent you an email.

Preston,
I have 1 piece left that I can get 2" by 2 1/2" out of with the 5" running with the grain. I would have to cut it to your specs. which is fine, I certainly don't mind doing it. I just measured the USPS flat rate boxes, they won't fit in a small flat rate box, but I can get up to 20 in a medium flat rate box, which is the same to ship no matter how much it weighs, "if it fits... it ships" to quote the post office.
It would be $12.65 shipped to you. There are a couple other choices, that might be cheaper but I'd have to cut them first to see how much it would weigh. I'll pay half the shipping as I stated in the forum, so I'd like to send it the least expensive way. Why don't you call me at 828-371-7409 and we can figure out how many you'd like and what's best for you. I can cut these today and get them in the mail tomorrow and you should have them next Tuesday or Wednesday. I would prefer to send you a couple pictures of the wood after I've cut them, just to make sure you're happy with it before shipping. I'll wait to hear from you before taking further action.

Thanks, Mark
