yep., 8-10 mm i believe...

i have a trent bosch carving stand that i just got tired of having to take the chuck on and off... cant carve cause i need the chuck for turning.. and i cant turn cause i need the chuck for carving...

so thats the main reason..

Just go get a mm T handle Allen key.

Supernova2 uses an allen key
Supernova 1 used a geared chuck - with 5 or 7 teeth....

Yup thats what I said an Allen key.

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong, but I think he needs the key for the Supernova 1 - not the Allen key for the Supernova 2
Well maybe me too, but in post 6 he said nope to the post above and that was the G3 handle so I just presumed he wanted the Allen key style. :eek:

nope.. orignal supernova... they haven't made a key for it in 15 years.. i've called teknatool...

I've got 2 supernova 2's... and thats a 10mm allen ...

supernova I has a geared tooth chuck...

and no.. i cant make one...
