I figured it was too Dense. I have had sooooo many split right off the tube in a day or two after turning. Any ideas what too do?
Thanks

Rich,

I had that same problem nearly two decades ago---one of many reasons I started turning acrylics--dimensional stability!! From three feet away, I don't think you can tell if a pen is black acrylic or ebony!!

Hi Ed,
I tried Ebony about 10 years ago and had the same problem.
Havnt touched it till now because of a nice order if I can get it to not crack.
Statesmans and Jr Statesmans.
Also the same problem with African Blackwood.
