Looking to trade for some stabilized amboyna burl 3/4" & 1" blanks. Looking for a nice golden brown with not a lot of figure. I have some very nice amboyna burl or snakewood blanks to trade. Thanks

I think he's looking for some stabilized amboyna so he can make a cigar pen. I don't think he want to trade for kits.

And if that's the case, why do you want stabilized amboyna blanks? I've never had any problem turning unstabilized amboyna. And again if I'm right, you might ask for somewone to stabilze the anboyna you have if you're set on using stabilized blanks. It might be easier than trading.

I'm looking for the blank not the kits to make a fake looking cigar. I have amboyna but it is to nice just need something regular looking and I was told to use stabilized wood for the body part.

I typically use crosscut mahogany for mine. I would be glad to trade you for your Amboyna but you could probably find crosscut mahogany for cheap - Duane
