The Rosewood is cut from local Florida Rosewood...
It's very hard and dry it's mostly 2 tone
Some are mostly Sap-wood some are all Hart-wood
Even the Sap-wood has great character, color and is very dense...

Wayne, I know the wood was harvested in FL. I belong to the local wood club and it was brought in on a trailer. I was lucky to get get a couple small pieces, this was cut from a small log..
