I cut up more lilac last night with my new Bandsaw. Please look over the pictures and descriptions. This lilac
Wood is dry and ready to turn and makes your shop smell amazing. Some pieces of lilac in the pictures have been sprayed with Wanut oil lightly to show the color and grain patterns of this beautiful Iilac wood. All prices include shipping! To see a picture of this lilac finished check out this post by me: http://www.penturners.org/forum/f13/im-amazed-how-lilac-came-out-129980/

1. NEW PRICE $35 WAS $45 Random pieces of lilac with amazing color contrasts. Almost fills a medium flat rate box. Most pieces are under 1/2 inch thick, a few are larger and could make shorts or cut offs. Some small veneer / good for laminating, longs and shorts, knots, bark and wild grain and colors.

2. Updated Price $20 "Worthless" pieces with great color, grain and bark inclusions. Would look great casted on clear or color. Ships in a small flat rate box.

3. ***SOLD*** $20 1 piece with 2 knots all the way through. Just over 3/4" thick and solid other than the knots that go all the way through. If I casted I would try something cool with these wholes!

4. SOLD $30. 10 pieces cut to just fit inside a small flat rate box. These pieces are around 3/4" square but have small cracks in them. If I didn't have over 50 solid (no cracks) Lilac pen blanks myself now I would be keeping these. Beautiful color again.

I am selling these because they are not prefect, have small cracks or are under 3/4". My only condition is if you purchase any of these is that you put up pictures once you've created something with them!

To claim them 1st come first serve by Posting below in this forum and then PM me for paypal info.

Ethan do you have any that would make a small box? 4" square 6" long give or take. Thanks William

Can you explain in a little more detail what you are looking for? I still have more lilac to cut up.... If I don't have what you are looking for I might be able to cut something for you.

Received in great shape. I am looking forward to making something with it!

How soft is the wood? is it a requirement that it be stabilized (not concerning the holes)

Wood is HARD. Not the hardest I have turned but I do not think you will need any stabilization. I have found that the wood is solid, cuts / scrapes great, didn't even get any tear out using an old barrel trimmer.

Glad you got it! I'd love to see what you do with it!

Thanks!
