This tree holds a special place in my heart and has a beautiful yellow heartwood. I know it is native to Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Indiana area. Wondering if any had any laying around they'd be interested in selling. I'd love to make a sketch pencil for myself out of it.

Thanks!

Not familiar with American yellow wood, but I have some Osage orange. It is yellow, but eventually fades to brown in light. Is that what you're looking for?
