These pictures of four sides of the same blank. This blank was cut from material harvested from my parent's back yard in Northeast Alabama. The plant is native to the Eastern United States. The lines in the blanks is not spalting. It is the natural coloring of the material.

This blank has some softer places and could benefit from stablizing. This blank is approximately 3/4" x 3/4" x 5 1/4"

The first person to post the correct common name of this plant AND post a picture of the plant (or a link to a picture) will received this blank via first class mail.

If you're nice, you might find a few extras in the envelope. :biggrin:

Let's see how long it takes to get a correct answer.

How about a few hints first...

This is not from a fruit tree. The donor source is native to the Eastern United States. It can be an invasive species.
