I'm looking for a Penn State Variable Speed Conversion Kit for my Harbor Freight Lathe.
Penn State's product number is TCLVSKIT.

Not to discourage you from your quest here, but why not get it from PSI and talk to them to see if it will work with that lathe?? You will have a brand new unit and warranty from them. If buying used you never know what you get when it comes to electronics. Just an opinion.:):):)

I doubt that anyone will purchase one of those and not use it - i.e. just have one laying around. It is possible, but highly un-probable.

I have one that I purchased around 2007 or 2008 from them and it still works well today. Sometimes the control switch has to be cleaned of dust, but it still works just fine.

I am going to purchase this from PSI...
I see that this comes with a DC motor;
Any idea if a reversing switch can be added ?
