Off topic, I know, but I really can't resist saying this ...
I really hope ANY snake skin you get is dead, rather than just dying! =D
So, my question is this ... I know that they typically use a CLEAR resin to encase the snakeskin blank... can't you just dye the exterior of the blank itself during the final sanding and finishing stage to impart the desired colors?
