I'm looking for someone that would do engraving on a coffee bean pen. I had a pen engraved locally, but wasn't impressed with the outcome. Being the different colors of the coffee and cream, what would be the recommended color fill to make the engraving stand out?

Probably a gold or red color fill would be best. Finish has to be smooth as glass to get a good color fill. I do engraving for locals, would be willing to do yours if wanted...

Just another tip: If you have an extra blank, it is always best to try engraving and color fill on it first. That way there is no surprise and the blank can still be turned down into a pen...

Bill -
I work in West Chester - I have a guy in Mason who laser engraves wood for other projects for me (believe it or not, I found him on Craigslist!). Send me a message if you would like his info -
Thanks,
Richard
