See "market research" thread here for a few pics of roughed out bowls from this beautiful wood:
http://www.penturners.org/forum/f159/any-interest-fresh-cut-curly-bradford-pear-wood-117584/
I've weighed and measured each piece. Everything is $2 per pound.
The pieces are numbered in the photos and correspond to the measurements and weights in the attached PDF.
shipping will be by USPS flat rate boxes.
MFRB is 11 x 8.5 x 5.5
LFRB is 12 x 12 x 5.5
I will use Regional Rate boxes (if possible) - they have weight limits:
Regional Rate "B" box: 12 x 10.25 x 5 - limit 20 pounds
Regional Rate "C" box: 14.75 x 11.75 x 11.5 - limit 25 pounds
I also have some 12 x 12 x 8 boxes and 11 x 17 x 9 boxes that I can ship in.
please send a PM if you're interested in one or more pieces - I will combine items for shipping if possible - and/or I'll trim them to your specifications to fit into a shipping box at no extra charge.
At these prices, I will not cut them into bowl, spindle or pen blanks for you. If I have pieces left that don't sell, I'll cut them into bowl or pen blanks and sell them in a different thread.
I also have a piece of fresh cut pecan, good for a platter turning. it is about 17" diameter, and varies up to about 3" thick. $2 per pound also.
