Been lots of talk about the carbide tools and sharpening. I can sharpen most of the inserts, if you want to mess with sending them. If you are of the mid set that throws them away, I would be willing to buy them from you. Price is not great, but better than nothing. Going rate for used carbide is about $5-6 a pound last I checked. Not sure how many of these it would take to make a pound, but...............or tell me what you want for them (reasonable, of course ;) )PM me if interested. Sharpening runs about $3.50 each, plus a little for return shipping.

I'll say this if Paul sharpens it for you be very careful and have plenty of Band Aids around, they will slice you LOL. I haven't had him sharpen any carbide cutters but have had him do my carbide end mills and have the stitches to prove it:wink::rolleyes:

Paul has sharpened some for me and they were very sharp and worked like new ones at a fraction of the cost. A bargain!
