bowling ball blanks

hi guys I am looking for some bowling ball blanks I got one from someone on here a few years ago and I can not think of who it was I really liked the blank and have had several people ask me to do them a pen in that material but I am out of it does anyone know who makes these the ones I need is bowling ball chips that are casted in a white material

Could you be talking about ebonite? If so, a Google search "ebonite pen blanks or rods" should yield many results. Here's one source that I purchased from and was very pleased: r and b crafts - ebonite.

Bruce119 is who I bought some from years ago. I believe it was last year when he cleared out all his remaining blanks. I really miss his special talent.

I can't help you sourcing the blanks but here's a link to and interesting thread from about 5 years ago. I my second reply in that thread I showed how a few pens had almost completely faded of colour. I'm assuming there was no UV inhibitors in the BB resin. In the same reply, there are links to what the pens originally looked like.

Evidently there are a few types of bowling balls used over the years. Each material will require its own finishing process and its final look may vary. here is an older thread.
