I have some Acacia pen blanks for sale. They came from a tree/shrub that died at the Desert Museum in Tuscon,AZ. They are roughly 3/4 square by 5-1/8 long. I kissed them on a large disc sander to straighten them with minimal material removal.
Some are slightly under 3/4 square due to warping while drying and bandsaw blade drift.
The spalting is solid but it will turn away in most blanks as will the sapwood. These are pretty hard like a hard maple and turn nicely. The rounds were turned out of a couple of split pieces and have a coat of walnut oil on them.
The box of 26 shorts will yield a sierra length barrel at the very least. The lengths go from 2-7/16 to just over 4 inches. Several are in the 3-1/4 to 3-1/2 inch range. These will be sold as a lot for $26 shipped in a small flat rate box.
I would like to get $2 a blank for the full length blanks.
Shipping would be $5.95 using a small flat rate box.
I can possibly fit up to 20-22 in a small flat rate box.
PM for payment information. I do use paypal. Thanks for looking.
