Default Jan 21st, 2017 - Meeting #23

This will be our 23rd meeting (If my calculations are correct). The meeting will be hosted by Ronnie Hallsell in Maumelle. Ronnie has a Shopsmith lathe that we can use for demos. If anyone can bring a small lathe (Dave . . . . hint hint), then I will do another kitless demo. If not, we'll work it in at another meeting.

Ronnie will supply the food, but everyone should bring something to drink. He's planning on making breakfast for the meal.

Does anyone have an idea for the trade? I know we normally do a pen, but we've had a few themed trades in the past. One several years ago was "Not a Pen". We also done the modified slimline trade. Ideas anyone?

Details and directions will follow in the coming weeks, but mark the date on your calendars.

I will not be able to make this one. My daughter has a gymnastics meet in Bentonville that weekend. We will be there for that and visiting family in Fayetteville for that weekend.

Teddy, it looks like we'll need your lathe. Ronnie said his lathe won't be operational by meeting time.

That won't be a problem. I'm ready for it already. What about a swap of some kind?

Are you guys open to new guests? I'm in Maumelle and, depending on how things go at home, I would love to meet local turners.
