This is a reminder of the IAP Penturners meeting Thursday 2/21/13 at the Woodcraft store off Pleasant Valley Rd in Raleigh. The meeting time is 6:30pm.
Feel free to bring a friend. The meeting will be a chance for attendees to discuss tips, tricks and techniques with other turners.
Bring a few of your pens or other turnings to share with the group.
No matter what your skill level is everyone will either learn something new or be able to contribute!
Continuing with the topic of preparing a blank for your pen
· Squaring the ends of the blank - discussions on your process and what others options you may have
· Turning the blank once the tube is in place - options include mandrel or between centers
Anyone interested in doing a demo, please let me know prior to the meeting.
