Zurkodie wood?

Has anyone ever heard of zurkodie wood? I have had a request for a pen made out of this and I have never heard of it, nor am I seeing anything when I "google" it. It may have another name, but this is all I have to go on. Any ideas?

It is likely to be ziricote. A search of the Photo Albums or on the internet will provide pictures. I'll bet one of our pen-turning member/suppliers even has some they will sell.

That really should have occured to me, I was looking at the word and not the phonetics. I just sold my last 4 to a groom for his groomsmen. I had not sold any until then, all of a sudden everydoby wants it....isn't that just life....[]

Have you ever done something that was stupid.....I just did. Here I
was calling in the big guns for this "unknown" wood and the spelling
was just off....
I was looking at the words and not the phonetics. I just sold my last
4 to a groomsman, of course I know this wood...
