So, I have a long piece of tightly figured cross cut Zebra wood. The black and white lines going horizontally down the pen and are tightly packed. What pen style should I go with?

I'm thinking I want to show off all of the wood, so maybe a black titanium long clicker? But, I want something special for such a awesome piece of wood so maybe a gun metal graduate rollerball?

I would love your thoughts on pen style. I was thinking of the Falcon but the barrel length is short and I'd like to show off the whole thing.

Thanks, guys.

I've never actually made a cigar pen before; good quality construction? Reliable?

=walshjp17;1572480]Why not try one of Les Elm's (rd_ab_penman) Longwood Cigars -- single barrel cigar.

Close as I can figure, I sold a couple thousand and never got one back for a failure. Over about 10 years, so they had "history". But I always bought them from Berea or CSUSA---both had a solid transmission and good quality plating (although a couple 10kt did wear off).

FWIW,
