Hi!

I have been wondering if someone has used their woodwrite lathe w/ their madrels to turn kit's other than woodwrite kits.

ie Woodwrite 7mm mandrel to turn say a berea slim line pen.

I know that I could mount a regular manurel rod, with bushings, but am wondering about the possibility of the above.

Thanks

David

Yes you can use the Woodwrte mandrel for turning slimlines from Berea,CSU, PSI and Hut. No center bushing needed. Other 7mm kits can be used but only half a blank at a time. I will usually just chuck a regular mandrel in the collect and go at it. The 8mm and the 11mm mandrels will work on other kits but again only half at a time.
