I picked up the second issue. The article on the vacuum sled ,while good in theory left a little to be desired in the graphics. The author tried to describe how to build one, but the photographs accompanying it were very small and did not illustrate the topic well.
I did decicd to susbcribe to it,looking forward to issue #3 which will be my second.
I got a copy from the first issue about center rings and pen finishing. Again very superficial.
I do hope with readers input the substanance of the magazine improves.
The way it is now I don't see much of a future for it.

Please also keep in mind that the magazine tries to include different types of projects at different skill levels. While an article may seem superficial to one it may be at or above someone else's skill level.

I have found all 3 issues to be quite informative, and I like the variety.

I also know that Joe tries to mix the skill levels and types of projects and I am sure he would be open to suggestions.
