Woodcraft Turning for Troops

What a very great way to spend a Saturday. Thanks to Woodcraft for putting on the Turning for Troops project. Looks like our store was able to get quite a few pens turned and there are still a couple of hours left. Loved participating in an event that is for our troops. Freedom is not Free and it is due to dedication of those who do and have served this GREAT NATION.

Had a craft fair today so I missed it. I usually try to spend most of the day there turning pens and helping out. I checked in with them last week and they will probably still have the lathes and blanks available. George who normally works Sunday is retired Army and like to participate and unless they need them for classes they leave a few out. My wife wants to attend the Holiday Market so it's an added excuse to drive into town and turn a few.
