I am with everyone else. Could be Cocobolo, East Indian Rosewood, Kingwood or maybe even Ziricote. How did it cut? Was it dust or curls? How did it smell?

Here are some closer pictures of the blank to better CIMG0575.jpg. Also, I have taken CIMG0578.jpgpicture of another wood blank from the same bag that you might can identify. The wood grain as you can see is very close together. Thanks for the help.CIMG0573.jpg

As I turned the wood it was curls, not dust and really did not notice any different smell other than just wood smell. That was the case on both pieces of wood.
