Ok folks I need some help I bought a fair amount of wood at my wife's grandfather's estate auction and need to ID some of the pieces.

The first pic shows the whole lot that I bought for $5 minus the 2x4x48 piece of curly maple that I figure was well worth the price paid, the rest is just icing on the cake.

The rest are pieces I would like help identifying.
Pic 2: Maybe redwood?
Pics 3 & 4: He has labeled as MAG WENGE, and I am not sure what the MAG would stand for.
Pics 5 & 6: both appear to be pieces of cherry but I am not certain on that.
Pic 7: I don't even have a guess.
Pics 8 & 9: He has labeled as Sycamore ??? so I am not sure on that one.

Thanks in advance for the help. Also if you happen to spot anything else in the first pic you can easily id feel free to let me know it may be a pieces I wasn't sure on but haven't taken a pic of yet.

#5 might be cherry, but I doubt it. The grain looks wrong for cherry. #6 looks more like red oak, but the pic is not good enough to say. It's definitely not cherry, though. I also agree that #7 is some type of pine or softwood. HTH.
