There was a wind storm recently and blow off about 15 pinecones about 5-8 inches. All still very tight. I am thinking about using the sieera kit and turning the pinecones. What type of glue would the group recommend for the job.

CA thin or CA med?

thanks Bill Daniels [:p]

If you are trying to make a blank more "solid", thin CA is the way to go. It will soak in more efficiently. Anything thicker won't wick as much into the small gaps, openings or even open grain of your piece.

Now, I'm curious to hear how it works with a pine cone. Are you sure they are dry enough?
