I am trying to find a source for the BLACKIT that is described to oxidize tubes so they are black. The website that is on the tutorial doesn't work. I really need some and any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

Thanks, i bought a cactus blank, and want to get it right. How do you recommend painting the inside of the blank once you drill out the blank, just regular black paint?

It seems that you guys recommend dying the tube and painting the blank as well.

John, Testor's model paint is an effective/cheap way to go. Do paint both tube and the inside of the cactus blank to achieve best results. A Q-tip works good for applying the paint. It does not have to be black, choose any colour that you like and enjoy the results.
