Where do you get Sierras longer?

A question please . i just got given a couple of Kallenshaan pen kits. the laser cut pen kits ,BUT they are oversize on my standard Sierras about 60mm . Do i have to sand to fit or can i buy longer barrel pen kits. i have only ever done twist sierras and not sure if they just fit click type or I a can get longer barrels to fit . Please help as new to pen turning.

Center your tube when you glue it in the blank and sand off the ends.

Paul - those are made to fit the longest of the Sierra pen family- the "classic" sierra click. I use a ruler to position the design, usually biased towards the finial end of the pen. I wrap the ends where I will cut with a fine toothed saw blade with tape making sure to leave a millimeter or two extra then proceed to glue and sand the ends. Bad things can happen with a pen mill.
