Into Canada from the US are there any issues or concerns to be aware of?
Any tips or hints would be appreciated.
Condition of wood blanks?
Customs Labeling the package?
Best way to ship?

Thanks

Les

Les...There are not a lot of issues involved. Let the vendors on this site handle the paperwork and custom form. Have all of your parcels sent USPS and not through a courier service as they charge a brokerage fee. Only time you may have a problem is if a blank or bowl is sent with the bark attached. Only concern I could think of is why I didn't buy from penblanks.ca. Large assortment of nice blanks and might buy there except the shipping to here (there?) is excessive. I assume you are an end user and not a reseller.

On the customs paperwork,

DON'T say "spalted"!!!

Do say "stabilized" or "plasticized" if applicable.

Oh, OH! I just sent out a box of wood blanks to the young aussie girl who was waiting for the pen in a pen swap.:airplane:
I'm pretty sure I wrote Spalted Maple on the paperwork. :frown:
Hope it doesn't cause a problem on her end!
