What wood was used in this pen?

I purchased this from Woodcraft. I drilled it on the lathe but still the pattern didn't come out that well but my main question is what wood was used in it.
I think
Padauk, Redheart, and Maple. The brown wood is a strange color. It's like a light
Charcoal color.

now i see it, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, brown appears to be wenge, but not much to see so can't swear to it.

Maybe Walnut, a closer pic would help.

yes its hard to tell, but my guess from afar would be walnut, maple, and bloodwood

padauk, maple, and wenge. thats what used on most of the segment blanks at woodcraft

guessing from the other segmented blanks they sell at woodcraft, I'm sure it's some combination of maple, purpleheart, redheart, padauk, or walnut. It's hard to tell exactly from that pic but that's what most of their segmented blanks include.
