Is there a correct name for slimline pens with a fat middle. the ones I turned today went from .335 at the center bands to .455 at the middle of the barrel then back to .335 at the nib and finial
Thanks
Ken Ferrell

How about the spare-tire-style if it's a male pen and the more-realistic-than-a-super-model-proportioned style if it's a female pen? Of course that does mean you have to figure out a way to figure out if your pen is male or female, and I don't know if you can tell that by looking and I'm not really sure where you'd look![}:)][}:)]

Sounds like what Russ Fairfield calls a "fat line". I have made a couple recently. Check his website at http://woodturnerruss.com/Index.html , lots of good ideas.
