Hello,
I am trying to fix this pen but I am not sure what it is. I tried baron and jr gent ll and they do not fit.The threads on this pen are more coarse and the cap seems wider.

Is it a jr gent 1? If so, I have not used this kit before.

If so does anyone have a replacement black plastic thread insert for the cap?

Thanks,
Nick

Based on the shape of the grip section, the two decorative grooves on it, and the black threads, I would say this is one of the early versions of the Jr Gent II. They had some issues with the threads of the early versions. However, without any measurements, I cannot say for sure.

The tube diameters (and finished diameters) of the Jr Gent I & II are different.

I would say Jr Gent II also. I havnt seen any feather blanks made for the JG I. Where did you get the blanks from? Or did someone just bring it to you?

It could be one of three"

Jr. Gent II, 10K gold-CSUSA
Tycoon - PSI
Baron - Arizona Silohuette (Navigator - Woodcraft)

Take your calipers and measure the trim rings and then compare the reading to bushing and tube chart in the Library here.

The Jr. Genet II has bigger tubes than both the Baron and Tycoon.
