I had frequented here a while back but as life sometimes does, I ended up going a different direction for a time but things are back to normal now. I have just purchased a Wilton mini lathe and have several cocobolo blanks that a member had sent me last year (Thanks again!!)NOw, my question is, what do I need to get to start tueniong pens besides a kit or two????

I am new also. Best thing I can say is to read the posts on IAP. Man is there some information on here. Try and don't be afraid of mistakes. The more I turn the better I get. I am staying pretty basic with kits and finishes for now. Just keep turning and enjoy....

I started reading Russ' tutorials years ago...I still come back every now and then for things forgotten or failed to learn the first few years [:)]

I have to agree, Russ' site is quite informative, and I have only quickly scanned (well, as quickly as dial-up will let me!!). Will post questions as they arise.
