What kind of wood is this. I want some!

I have this wood for years and have ask many people what it is and it seems no one knows. It came from central Texas I think.

It is brown, green and some yellow.

I did some adjustments to your picture using a process called "high dynamic range" in Ulead Photoimpact XL. It does wonders to bring out grain. Almost looks like a mesquite root burl of some type with a strange spalt but not sure. here is the re-done pic.

Well to me it looks like Texas Ebony, Pithecellobium flexicaule
Plenty of it was used for fence post to post and beam housing supports. It never rots like Osage orange and its colorful at times it often fools the best of skilled woodworkers! Unless I have the wood myself to view under a microscope I could be wrong too!
