Wax?

I'm VERY new to pen turning. I want to try using a CA/BLO finish, but I noted in another thread, waxing of the bushings and mandrel were suggested to keep from gluing them to the pen blanks. What kind of wax do you use for that purpose?

Almost anything you have handy. Johnsons paste wax will work. Some don't bother at all.

Thanks for the info. We use Johnson's for a lot of things, so we've plenty on hand. I'll wax them up with that. Appreciate your help []
