Hmmmmm. Lenny made me think about a issue it have with decals. I apply water decals directly to the tubes and then make Alumilite blanks. Often the tube will separate from the decal. The decal will remain faithful to the Alumilite put slip away from the tube. I wonder if gluing a plain paper would work? Also, when I tried this with resin, air would appear and I would take a small butane burner to heat the inside of the tube which made the air disappear.

You might need something between the brass and the decal. It could be paper, but
even a layer of CA might work..

Try labels instead of decals

Why use a waterslide decal directly on the tube?

I used to do that until I found out you could use normal shipping labels directly on the tubes and they look great!!

Besides labels are a ton cheaper....

Tried that in the beginning, but I might try it again.
