I have had a few inquiries about making pens with the NFL logos. I was wondering if anyone can post some pictures of their work.

I am particularly interested in making buffalo bills pens and see that The Classic Nib has some of these bottle cap pens. I would like to see what the look like finished!

Here is a pic of one I purchased. Instead of a pen, it is on a toothpick holder key ring from Woodcraft. I showed it to some Woodturning friends at lunch one day before Christmas and a lady blunt it for her son...and he loves it!
On these kits, sometimes the key ring will unscrew and you loose the best part....the blank. I usually glue these so they don't open. I just don't tell the person it was a toothpick holder.

I saw your toothpick holder but want to see it with a pen kit.

What / how did you finish? Sand to 12,000k?

Ethan, I only had the one blank....no pen pic.

As for finish, I use Barry Gross' products....wet sand with acrylic sanding pads (to 12,000), next, plastic polish and then buff with his acrylic buffing wheels with the blue rouge......that's it!
