Walnut Root...lookie lookie

My Favorite wood source told me of a huge walnut root ball that has been drying on his driveway for years. He told me that as soon as it was dry enough that he would give me some. Last week he comes to me with a chunk abot 5 in wide and 2 ft long. I cut part of it and this is what I saw!

now should I try and sell these as blanks or just turn them myself?

Help!
