My first try at Enduro system. I like it, in spite of the time factor to let it cure. This is a slimline of walnut burl, that began to chip out at the ends, so I used some <s>oops</s> ..ahem .. accent rings of tulip wood. Hardware is TiN. I generally like gold with walnut, but do you think it would have been better with a brushed chrome kit?

Don't have one in brushed chrome, but here's a slimline I finished this morning in Titanium Chrome. Sorry the picture is so dark...I need to get a digital camera, I guess.

Very nice Ron. I find that both gold and silver look nice with most woods, including Walnut. It really depends on the look you're going for. In my never humber opinion, silver gives a more subtle look to the pen, whereas gold tends to be a bit flashier. This is more apparent on some of the "higher end" kits, like the Emperor, where there's both silver and gold/black Ti, but I think it carries through to the more pedestrian kits too (i.e., the kits I use more regularly!).
