Virage RB/FP

I am in the process of assembling some Virage RB/FP component sets that I purchased from Bear Tooth Woods in August.

The instruction sheet calls for a Nib Decorative Ring that slides over the unthreaded end of the nib adapter.

None of the four component sets that I purchased have this decorative ring included.

Is this item no longer needed or am I missing this part?

as far as I know, it doesn't. It should be the section and nob and then the chrome piece. Their is a piece at the end but it was already fitted on mine, kind of like on the Baron fountain nibs.
