Is there any way to remove the click/clip assembly without damaging the plastic tranny. Somehow my tube was 1 - 2 mm's short leaving the cartridge to protrude that amount.

I was certain I would damage the plastic tranny, but I went ahead and attempted to remove the clip assembly anyway. Yup, I damaged the tranny and consequently have an entire Blk. Ti. Vertex assembly minus a tranny which I'm sure I'll not be able to replace.

I would be most appreciative of any and all advice you can offer!

I replaced a faulty trans using an old Parker pen I had. Easier (like mentioned) is probably calling PSI. They have always been extremely quick with replacement parts.

Mack,
You could send it to me, then I would have two of them. Been there, done that. Will figure out how to fix it later.
