I am stepping up from the slimlines for a little bit and have a question. What is a Gatsby/Monét Trimming Sleeve used for? Do I need one for each kit? Any other advice other than order bushings and drill bits? This will be a pen for my daughters graduation party to sign the guest book. The blank is Ugly but it is school colors!!

The trimming sleeve is used with the barrel trimmer to give it a snug fit into the tube so you get a properly squared blank. For the Sierra (same as Gatsby) I use another tube, I think from a cigar pen, as a sleeve.
