Hi all,
Can anyone suggest an alternative to Beartooths Vail as i cant get the Vail fountain in chrome anymore. The reason i liked this or rather my customers liked this was that it was a nice size as it sat between the Baron and the Senior Gent. Also i do watch parts on these and it gave me a little bit more clearance with the amount of resin left on as opposed to a Gent II. Any help greatly appreciated.

The triton and atrax have very similar sizes in all dimensions.

The vail (according to it's instruction sheet) uses a tube that is .4 for the body. So does the triton-atrax.
The OD of the body is .48 and .511, exactly the same as the body of the triton-atrax.

The cap is a little different.
both use the same brass tube (.48), but the vail uses a .59, while Berea uses .566 as the OD. So, yes, it is 1.2 hundredths of an inch thicker. (about the same as two sheets of standard copy paper.)

The vail tubes are the same size (IIRC) as the jr gent vII which makes the jr gent vII much the same size as the vail. Problems with the vail?
Do a good turn daily!
