Using the Scroll Saw for Pen Inlays

I have done searches here at IAP, in the library and on Google for any information on how some of you use your scroll saw to do inlays in your pen blanks. I have an order for a special symbol on a pen, and I would love to inlay this symbol into the wood instead of doing a decal.

Could someone point me in the right direction where I might find some information on scroll saws and pen blank inlays please.
