Using B mandrel with Beall collet chuck

Can you do that? I just ordered a B mandreal from JCALLZANO, and I don't have a morris taper chuck to fit it. I've got a Beall collet chuck though.

Yes you can but you need another collet (size is 5/16").

I use an 8mm ER32 collet with my Beall and the "B" mandrel. Works very nice and it does not 'pit' the mandrel when tightening it up. My previous 'sliding' mandrel used to chew up on the shaft due to the use of a machine screw that was used to hold it firmly in place.
