USAF SMSGT Pen

My nephew just got the word that he made SMSGT after 24 years. I would like to make a special pen to congratulate him Anyone know of anywhere that would have a clip with the SMSGT insignia? I have doubts abiout that. So I am open for suggestions on what would be a great momento for him All ideas welcome

I would be inclined to do something with the USAF seal and SMSGT chevron. I would probably do a couple of decals. Kind of depends on what kind of pen you are wanting to do.

How about a segmented pen with the appropriate number of chevron segments?

Congrats to your nephew. I am in the Air Force trying for the same rank. I haven't seen anything on the base that would work. We have metal chevrons, but they are two large for that. I will swing by my military clothing store and take a peek to see what they have. Try to google it. I am sure there is something out there.

The clothing sales makes Tie tacks and tie bars that have rank insignia on them. Try converting one to suit the pen your making.
