Unknown wood

I've had a regular customer give me a piece of wood to make several pens from. He called it Black Olive, or Black Olivewood, native to Florida. I've done a Google search and came up with nothing. Have any of you ever heard of this wood? I'll post pictures after I cut it up.

Never mind.......It's amazing how when you put the word "TREE" in the google search it opens up whole new sites......lol

Forget pics of the wood, just send some to me and I'll make sure it's Black Olive. You can't trust just any old internet sight out there, ya know, ya need someone to verify it...[]
