Where can someone get real crushed turquoise for a inlay on a pen? And if you have ever used any what can you tell me about it? I have an order for three pens with it and the guy wants the real thing.

Have a nice day!

Craft Supplies USA also carries crushed Turquoise in small amounts. I inlay crushed Turquoise all the time into various projects. However, I crush my own stone so I can better control the grading. [:)]CA and epoxy will work to bind the inlay - I typically use CA unless the inlay area is very large.

Turquoise sands easily, so no worries there. I think that the small and medium sized pieces look better than the powdered Turquoise when inlaid. Be sure to pack the area tightly with the crushed stone before you apply your binder and overfill the area slightly to insure you have a complete fill.

Once you have sanded it well, check the surface and see if you can see any pits, or holes. If so, reapply some stone or the binder to insure a smooth surface. Good luck and best wishes to you!
