Does anyone actually TURN polymer clay after baking? I saw where some people do from another group. I would be very interested in knowing about anyone's experience with turning hardened clay.
Thanks

Hi Carmen,

I turn polymer clay on the lathe. You have to have a very light touch and sharp tools because even after it's baked it's still "soft" and a dull or aggressive tool use will tear it.

Good luck!!

Ditto, on the above with GREAT emphasis on the soft touch. I usually turn to the desired shape then fine tune with light sanding and then I seal mine with CA and polish.

I`ve only done a very few polymer clays, but I turned them all. I agree with the light touch and very sharp tools. Here`s one of my first.
